When the passenger seat belt is not buckled (i.e. no one in the passenger seat), does anyone else's passenger seat belt dangle and hit the side pillar when driving? It is pretty annoying.

Pretty much every car i've owned... you can get some of those rubber wraps, but it makes the belt tough to use.

My noise is in the panel which houses the passenger seat belt. It drives me insane. Am taking it in to get looked at next Tues. Fingers crossed they fix the damn thing.

What sort of noise are you getting inside the housing?

Does it do it when someone is in the seat with it on, maybe buckle it up to see if it stops, Matt help them narrow down the issue.

I think we already discussed this ... It's "inside" the middle panel which houses the belt. I got my son to drive whilst I was in the passenger seat (yes, with the belt on) and recorded the noise in case the service department cannot duplicate the problem.... Though it's constant so that's not going to happen..

At least you eliminated that, hope they sort it out for you...

Good luck , insist on taking them for a drive if they doubt you. Keep us all updated .

I find if the buckle stays at the top it doesn't rattle. Maybe I'm lucky?

I adjusted the passenger seat belt height and it stopped most of the banging but before that it happened fairly often. Could always just buckle it in.

I fix the problem myself. You can chose height of the belt. Put it at the maximum height and the belt will never shock the body. (sorry for my english)

My passenger recoil wasn’t as good as the drivers side.
Reported it to the dealer and assumed they replaced the tensioner (ordered in a part). Has been good since so far!
