Was by one of the KIA dealers today and saw a Panthera Metal GT1, was surprised as I never saw on in our area and online it lists them as being only in GT trim. I really like that color! Did anyone in the US get this car in a GT1 trim? I can't recall reading about it here.

I bought one because I never saw one either. Looks amazing

I also bought one. The dealer even thought it was strange that you couldn't build a GT1 online with that color. I loooooove it.

I bought one also - there aren't too many of them around. Maybe it will become a collectors item if its so rare.

Nice guys! That's a color fit for this car, they should make it available across the line! Let's hope we get to see it on more trims in 2019 and with multiple interior color options!

I have one too. Really like the color, just wish the clear coat and paint in general was thicker.

I was resigned to the GT 3.3 base trim in Panthera metal, till I came upon the GT1 first. Could not just leave that beauty at the dealership. We drove home and been in love ever since:)

You're all right, Stingers are a rare and gorgeous site, but the ones in Panthera Metal are real attention grabbers for sure. Constantly approached by admirers who want a closer look at the details and ask about it. "Are you sure that's a Kia?", was probably my favorite question. ..."um, well I hope so. Haha"

One would think as KIA is pricing this a premium vehicle, they would also pay attention to the paint and ensure it like that from luxury manufacturers. I didn't experience any issues until my 3rd Optima Hybrid but I got pelted with sand/pebbles from a truck at highway speed and got some nicks on the hood, bumper has no issues. I remember in the earlier days I hear of folks having peeling paint on their bumper covers but I didn't experience any of that on my cars. Although, the issue didn't seem to be wide spread. My buddy's 2012 SWP hybrd, has been dinged all over and lost some paint but isn't as bad as one would have expected. For some using rubbing compound got rid of the other cars color and his paint was fine, seems the SWP (snow white pearl) had a better paint job on it.

I'd love one with a red or brown interior though. Had a lot of black through out my life of owning cars, ready for a splash of color.

The biggest issue I've had with the paint(eventhough I wish the clear coat/paint was thicker) has been these socal freeways. I was bout 100 yards behind a couple wooden pallets that fell off a truck. Cars were running it over and wood debris flying everywhere!

I agree, a brown would be great interior. That's what I have in my MB suv. In fact, I would prefer vinyl which is really quality in my MB and a helluva lot tougher

I am yet to see another one on a lot anywhere in GT1. This combo doesn’t seem to be an option anymore for Kia and I love it
