Decided to have a crack at this today. I used VHT Wrinkle Finish.
I find if you give it two lighter coats instead of one heavy coat, it gives you a bit more of a velvet type finish.
It’s not rocket science, but a pretty decent $20 mod…
Oh, and I know the bolts are missing, still waiting for it to cure.
