While merging onto the interstate yesterday, the check engine light turned on. Nothing seemed to behave strangely but I turned around and went home. I checked for codes on my JB4 and it showed p2563. I looked it up and the general description is, "charge air pressure controller." I drove it around again and there seems to be an issue building boost. There is some pressure building in the turbos but the intakes sound like they are struggling. However, there are no weird things going on when I have it in park and rev it. Has anyone had a similar experience? Is there anything I can check before having to resort to a dealer?

There are alot of tuner threads in the forums.

Make sure you dont have a simple boost leak somewhere before anything else.

There are videos on removing the bodywork if needed.

Also im not tuned so just my 2 cents

I would check to make sure you didnt jar a pipe loose off the intercooler or something.

I checked the connections for both the JB4 setup and the turbo system. It all looked good, so I cleared the code and have since gone through a full tank of gas. I haven't had any issues, nor has the code come back. I'm a bit puzzled by not finding a cause.
