P0172 code

Has anyone encountered a P0172 (fuel system too rich) code? Car used to have a jb4 however it is currently removed but still throwing code. Dealer says it looks like ecu is tuned and possibly locked. Other mods include muffler delete and HKS plugs.

Contacted Terry at Burger tuning and he explained once it is removed it should have no effect on the car.

Mostly HPFP high pressure fuel pump need to be replaced.

A lot of people seem to overlook the MAP/MAF senor. Bad plugs or faulty MAP and upstream o2 sensors typically cause P0172. I replaced all 3 above and fixed my P0172 code. The more rare case would be faulty injectors.
