So I have high flow cats, intakes, upgraded downpipe midpipe, MBRP cat back with resonators, hks plugs, hks BOV and JB4 with EWG adapters.
I’ve had issues with going limp and CEL ever since I did those performance mods and got the ewg adapter as recommended by terry from BMS. Still kept getting overboost and CEL. Was instructed to lower the FF down to 40 from 50. It was good for a few days till after a WOT run limp and CEL codes P259F and P25A0 came back with some engine knocking. Re installed the firmware and unplugged and plugged back in the JB4 and code and limp mode went away and was again instructed to lower gf down to 35 from 40. It was good for a week. Till I experienced limp and CEL— AGAIN!! And I’ve reduced it down to 30. And omg same exact day after a few hours I wanted to test it out with some WOT runs and AGAIN I experienced limp mode with CEL code P0049. And AGAIN I reduced the ff down to 25 from 30 i deleted the code and restarted the car and everything seems good for now.
I’ve had to reduce ff all the way down to 25 from the default of 50. Is anyone else experiencing any of this? I’m planning on getting the JB4 and ewg adapters removed and re installed by a professional tune shop. Bottom is the log for the most recent WOT run. I’ve already contacted BMS support and awaiting response.
