Orange parking cone disaster

Driving along approximately 40 miles an hour there was a car next to me and a car in front of me the car in front of me suddenly swerved and there it was an orange parking cone I was not able to swerve and rammed into it, very cold morning about 25 degrees so that darn cone was very hard, cracked my bumper shattered my lower Grill and damaged my agency intercooler, end up being $2,400 to fix, dealership did not say anything about my mods, cold air intake, blow-off valves, intercooler, exhaust and an oil catch can

Unfortunately I have $500 deductible the cone was no help at all

Was it just a cone you could find anywhere, or was it like a construction cone? If a construction company or someone like that left it in the road I'd be asking them to cover the bill.

I was driving bye the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals sport complex it could have been one of their cones but I don't know that for sure there was no markings on it whatsoever
