Looking for opinions on tuning and my next mod.

I currently have a 21' GT2 with intakes, mids, cat-back, fmic, tcu tune, hks plugs, fuel it kit, and jb4 running map 4 on E30.

Firstly, I don't want to run meth. I don't like having the tank inside the car and it's just not an option for me due to safety concerns since I do haul around my family in the car fairly often.

I contacted Lap 3 and was told I could run their stage 2 tune with E30 using 93 and E85 to get there, so that's my first option. I also inquired about the linear boost tune which can allow higher E content without cpi but it depends on the car whether or not you can run E65 or have to run lower E. I was also told the linear boost tune will make more power than stage 2 or 2.5 but requires meth, which I don't want to do and that none of their tunes would make max power or be tapped out without meth.

My other option is to add the cpi kit and run E40-45 with a more aggressive map on the JB4.

So, Lap 3 stage 2 on E30 with no meth or add cpi to the JB4 and run on a higher map using E40-45?

What would you recommend or do?

Thanks in advance!

Any news about LAP3 Linear Boost and what it do?
  • Less tapering?
  • Less overshoot?
  • Does it include any other tune mods like extended trims, extended map for HPFP?
  • Less Trims?
  • Higher fuel pressure?
I ask as I have ECU for modification right now for Linear Boost and to extend maps so I can run full E80-85 with CPI. I will also upgrade HPFP now that has a lot more capacity. LAP told me that fuel pressure with Linear Boost will show like 13-14 in logs compared to stock 10-11.

I also saw Tork at YouTube and his theory about low pressure pump and modification in some "bottlenecks", anyone who tried and know more how its doing? Could also be wise when running CPI as we use that pump then.
