Hello,

I used the wheel and tire fitment spreadsheet as a guide to try to budget out a square set up of all seasons for a 22 GT1 AWD. Haven't decided on a car yet, but switching to rotatable all seasons is a must for our local climate and not burning through tires prematurely. Still considering a CPO gt-line 2.5 if i can get a good price and also dont have to drop $2k on wheels and tires immediately.

Anyway does anyone see any problems with whats in the cart in regards to fitment, quality of the wheel, price etc? Can alignment be affected going to this set up?

Thanks

Edit: Also open to opinions on going with a square 18" All season set up too.

does the cpo gt-line come with 18s? they will be better in the snow than 8.5 with 255. that offset in your screenshot will probably clear the front strut but I bet it's close. if you go with that cpo and it comes with 18s x 8 and 225, you can bump the width up to 245 for looks but it won't improve handling snow, but will be less manageable than the narrower tire.

Thanks for the info. Ya the GT line just has the stock 18s. No need to buy another set for the 4 cyl.
The set in the screenshot is for the prospective V6. Im in the PNW so snow isn't as much of an issue as constant rain. Plus I need to be able to rotate.

awd 3.3l gt comes with 18s optional, especially the earlier model years. I remember 18s being all that northern states could get in 2018 - yet canada came with staggered 19s and summer michelin it made no sense. anyway, it is possible to find a gt with 18s, I just don't know how possible at this point.

We have a set of 255/40R18 mounted on 18x8.5 ET38 that clear the front struts with less than a finger thickness. I would imagine your setup would clear easily.

As with any change in the suspension setup - and wheel/tires are very much part if the suspension - an alignment would be highly recommended. Can you get away with not doing it? Sure, quite possibly, especially if you have no prior suspicion of it being off. Also, if you are going from stock 18's to 19's, the alignment specs (tolerance ranges) will change a bit, which is yet more reason to get it done.

As for the quality of the wheel, I'll let the pic below do the talking. I'll just say that for that price range you are looking at, you can get a nice set of Tier 1 wheels.

Also, I hope the roads are smooth and well-maintained where you live and drive. If you hang around Stinger/G70 forums and FB groups for any amount of time, you'll get to see posts of stock tires sizes hitting potholes and bending/cracking wheels.
