I got a crack in the bottom driver side corner of the windshield when the car was about 4000 miles old. I didn't even notice it because it happened directly on top of where my registration sticker is. I used the Permatex kit from o-o-o-oreillys to stop it. 17k miles now and it hasn't spread. Pissed me off real good when I found it.

Within the first 2 years of Stinger ownership, I needed to have 2 chips filled and then a full windshield replacement due to a large crack. Good thing that I have really affordable glass coverage that fills the chips for free and provided $100 deductible on the new windshield.

I never used to buy glass coverage but have started to always get it now, as between my wife and I, we've replaced 4 windshields in the last 5-6 years. It's as if windshields are more brittle than they once were.
