I've had my GT2 for just about one year now. I've put on about 5500 trouble free miles. I maintain a log book where I enter the miles and gallons of gas every time I fill up. Today I loaded all the data into a spreadsheet to see what kind of mileage I've been getting. Most of my driving is on rural / suburban roads, plus some interstates, with very little city or stop-and-go driving, and almost always in sport mode (with a somewhat heavy foot). Just thought I'd share my results. upload_2019-1-27_14-42-10.webp

Cool.. you can use Fuelly and it will track all fuel ups for you - for as many vehicles as you want. You can update with simple text messages (miles, cost, gallons - or whatever units you use locally)..

I assume those are US gallons. Where are you located? Mind adding it to your profile?

Yes, US gallons.
I took a look at Fuelly. I think my spreadsheet actually does more, but it's the same concept - enter date, miles, gallons and cost and the spreadsheet automatically creates the various charts.
I'm in New Jersey - one of only a couple states that doesn't allow self-serve gas stations, so I have plenty of time to record the data while waiting for an attendant to fill the tank, take my money, and make change. I hate it. I'd much rather pump my own.

Ten years ago I flew into NYC to buy a GTO. On my way home I stopped in NJ for gas and was amazed that I wasn't allowed to pump my own fuel. I've lived in 6 states and traveled through probably 40 and have never encountered that before or after.

Not trying to convince you - but for others to know, fuelly also allows export to other formats - I've done that often over the years despite using it to record at the pump.

Oregon, same thing. I'd have a scraped rear edge of my hood if I hadn't had PPF applied the week before; the attendant pulled up on my windshield wiper cleaning my glass.

Good God! "The Peoples Republic". Runaway! Runaway!
Can you fill your lawnmower by yourself, or does Big Brother have to come along? Just ridiculous.:lipsaresealed:

It used to be all attendant fill when I was a child. It's hard to believe this still exists.

yep, it was nice to actually remain seated in your car whilst it was being fuelled, give the attendant money, he/she gave you change and off you went. Still doing it here when I first got my license but were already fazing it out. I remember being a little apprehensive when I had to fill it up for the first time.

Yes it could turn sour as I recall when I asked for $5 of petrol and the dopey attendant filled my car up. I was 19 and had just bought a 2 dr Monaro V8 . I didn't have the $20 so I had to go to the boot and leave them a guitar as assurance. Petrol was 38c a litre and it was early 1983.
( excuse the off topic anecdote).

Ha ha, I remember having to leave an expensive necklace because of the same thing. You were definitely a " Rev head " weren't you ? you were driving around in a cool Monaro and picture this I was in a little burnt Orange ford Escort with a fricken Vinyl roof !
