alright you have shortened Stinger platform under G70. How about a stylish and lighter 2 door coupe. Something closer to 3000 lbs. Put the 3.3 T in car with a 6 speed manual. Porsche Killer?

nice idea , but I'm betting they wont do it ! More likely bigger , same concept on the K9 platform ala Panamera only more space ................or an SUV version

if it takes an SUV to fund the future performance versions, I'm ok with that. As long as the SUVs don't get all the funding. or half... :P

In an age where CUV/SUV sales are topping sedans, it is hard for them to come out with a car that they most likely wont sell a lot of. Coupes don't sell well so to put money into developing something that will end up not making profit doesn't make financial sense. WOuld be nice, but I doubt they will do it. Stinger is making a name for KIA but they aren't there yet. There are still a lot of folks that can't get past the KIA of old.

personally, i wouldn't do a coupe. just because there are a multitude of super coupes out there to choose from, but, not many gt's that are affordable. they have the niche market, slam dunk. i mean, for around the same money as a loaded gt2, i can get a cpo corvette. with a stick and a v8. not knocking the stinger, but, the mrs and i bought the stinger because of the fact that 1) there isn't anything like it on the road, 2) the performance to price ratio can't be beat.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Are you talking about this?

I mean think about it. An under $40k base model with 275 hp turbo 4 , 6 speed or dual clutch and up market V6 TT for under $50k. Nobody could touch it and enthusiast market would go crazy! It would kick F86 and most of JDM cars to curb. Porsche couldn’t touch it price wise. A sports car with 10 year warranty would be stellar too. Just need Kia to convince bean counters to use dual wishbone suspension up front .
