Rear main seal. Hopefully you are still under warranty.

Yea I am still disappointing
Imagine the disappointment, if you didn't have the warranty. We have quite a few people with the same problem on this forum. What year and milage is yours?

2019 34k It’s just that damn doesn’t anyone build a solid vehicle anymore great luck with Toyota. This is my first Kia.

KIA is solid. In top five reliability J. D. Power ratings year after year. You just got unlucky. Very few reports of leaking seals here.

OP, did you get this resolved, and if so, how did it go?

Nope next oil change sometime in January February will get her looked at again. The first dealer screwed me change the oil spray clean the bottom of the vehicle so they didn’t see anything so I’m back to square one. Yes, I even had a picture!

Update stinger is in another dealership right now. Turns out it’s not a rear main seal. Something inside the transmission has failed and is leaking out. Techs are currently saying full transmission replacement. What a bitch between a botched oil line recall two weeks without the car a few months later now this? I love the car but I’m really disappointed in Kia quality.

Thanks for the updates. Ima disappointed in your luck. Once this is behind you, Ima predicting smooth running for a long time. If you had a real "lemon" then more things would crop up in the time that has passed.

Just got an official reply from Kia boy I sure thought this was a rear main seal. Sure looked like oil on the bell housing. Kia has said the torque converter shaft. Seal is leaking accumulating in the bell housing. The factory has approved. New replacement still two weeks out.

I know how you feel. Been there done that. Hope it goes smoothly for you. I had no issues and got a new transmission at 10,000 miles on the car.
