OEM design vintage K hood emblem from the store here

so I got this emblem from the kiastinger store here after I got tired of the round E emblem and wanted to cover up some of the scratches and paint chips I made to the bumper the first time I swapped it out.


I have a couple issues. The paint on the top portion wasn't done completely and isn't solid.


As you can see just above the Loden logo, the area wasn't sprayed completely. The rest of the bezel is sprayed solid.

There were also a few chips in the paint in the following as I've pointed out in the pictures below. There are also chips in between the 2 areas I've pointed out and all around that edge.



There is also a little piece sticking out in the middle of the logo. Not sure if this was some sort of tab that connected the two pieces together for alignment but it wasn't removed completely as you can see in the photo below.


I figured that purchasing a $40 emblem from the store here would be good quality.

Never buying a Loden emblem again. Why did I put it on? Cause I already took off the E emblem before noticing the issues.

I think the paint is gonna fade and chips will show up pretty quickly based on the issues it already has. I was very careful when installing it and didn't out the emblem face down or drop it or anything
