I've noticed anytime I use my washer fluid I get a sweet smell coming through my HVAC. Curious to see if anyone has noticed this or if I might have a leak somewhere.

I've noticed the same. Could be aromatics that Kia is putting in from the factory, or maybe something that will simply persist with the life of the car. I would imagine it's due to the outdoor air intake's proximity to the cowl drains. Hopefully this fluid (or any, for that matter) isn't draining into the intake duct.

Try putting system on recirc before using it, see if that makes a difference - if so, it's just coming thru the air ducts.

Yup, that made the difference. Never had a car where I could smell the washer fluid before when drawing fresh air. Just glad to know there's not an actual problem.

More likely, never had a car with washer fluid that is so "fragrant"! Cabin air intakes are pretty much universally between the hood and windshield.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
So is my 2003 F150, my daughters 2014 Challenger, my girlfriends 2006 Sequoia - when I fill up the washer reservoir for them (or myself), I get comments - I use green stuff from RainX I think, and some pink stuff from WalMart..

I usually use the orange stuff from Rain-X. Ahhh, Eau-de-Rain-X .

And agreed about the intake location. Pretty much every auto maker does this since it's a high pressure point.
