• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

OK, I’m going to kick this off & feel free to add you own experiences/recommended drives.
Left home (Western Sydney) this morning, drove up the mountains to Oberon, had lunch in this small country town then drove the Abercrombie/Taralga Road to Goulburn, I cannot recommend this drive enough it’s perfect for the stinger & the scenery is not bad either. Staying in Goulburn overnight then on the Kings Hwy to Batemans Bay for another overnight stay, then a leisurely 3 1/2 hour drive up the coast on Thursday.

No chickens that look bees I hope! ( private joke)

Some of these could have been bees this morning.

Did the Kings Highway from Goulburn, through Braidwood & onto Batemans Bay for an overnight stay, another great driving road, this car handles the curves & undulations beautifully cannot recommend this drive enough.

View from our hotel room at Batemans Bay NSW South Coast.

Have you applied Ceramic Coating, or are you going to leave it factory paint ?

Not ceramic coating, I had the dealer paint & leather protection applied before delivery it is called Protektiv...gives a good quality finish, protects against the sun, bird & bat poo & no need to polish.

7hr round trip via Putty Road, first weekend in the Stinger. Its incredible, get Bi-Modal installed next week so will take it away again. Maybe one of the above suggestions. Putty Road was empty, 1:30mins of bliss really pushing the car with the paddle shifts and top end on straights. Then back home down the pacific highway and the Stinger practically drove itself back, effortless. What a machine!!!

Yep good drive that. Did that drive with the Kia Gt facebook group. Look on this site for the next drive. Down 2 drives so far.

Hi Guys. I am from western Sydney. Is there any stinger cars clubs started out this way and somewhere near Penrith or the blue mountains.

So far I have added the rear window led light, racechip GTS, Bi modal exhaust in S/S , k/N intake, HKS plugs. I have wheels on order and here from Miami in 2 weeks and also have body kit, BOV kit, LED door sil kit to add plus more.

I just cruised to Kiama this weekend for a drive.

Kindly

Phil

Hi philsting and welcome we've had two days out so far in NSW one Singleton via putty rd and the other to Kuring gai national park on Aust day. I organised that one. If you like add to the NSW day out forum link and when something comes up you'll be notified or put details under NSW register owners fourum link. These are to be found under regional stingers, down under. I'm at Emu Height so local to you. What colour stinger? Are you the white one i keep seeing up old bathurst rd?

Welcome to the Forum @philsting, looks like you got your mods well in hand.
I am also out in this vicinity as Oztung says we have had 2 get togethers/runs & I’m sure we will do another soon, providing we can get a good turn out in numbers will make it all worthwhile & yes Kiama is a good run, the runs I did on this thread are also worthwhile.
