Yeah BMW has the best 360 camera tech, it started with the revamped 7 series. I see they also moved it to their Rolls-Royce brand.

It's not much different from more "traditional" 360 cam, someone just figured out you didn't have to limit it to just looking down, plus the demand is driving down the price of digital image processing hardware.

Anyone with photo stitching experience could easily replicate.
