I gotta be honest - when I take a picture of my Stinger, it’s not always my favorite thing in the photo. 5D83E945-A3C0-4175-AFCC-518D515169A0.webp

Scary! But at least you can't run afoul with a sunroof. :P

lmfao nice bike!! :D

I am too scared to put our bikes on the top like that... thank goodness the back seats fold down and we have blankets... :D
Just curious - what scares you about putting a bike on the roof?

As for me - my trunk is full of my biking gear, climbing gear, and golf clubs, so I've got no choice but to put the bike on the roof. (I could install a hitch, but that requires removal of the bumper cover, which I'm not wanting to dive into at this point.)

idk just gosh forbid they break loose and hit someone behind me or if we're in an accident and roll/flip it could due more damage... or probably I'm just a bit too lazy to put our bikes on top lmfao :p

In this specific case, the sunroof opening without my volition. Hah!

But I've done roof mounted bike racks in the past and I've had several "adventures" with them that damage the rack, the bikes, and the roof (minor though the latter is; on my Stinger I would bleed inside).

In 30 years of being a cyclist (both road and mountain) I’ve never had an issue with my bike on the roof. Of course I’ve surely jinxed myself now. :D

Here’s why the trunk won’t work for me....

Here's why the hatch (not trunk) works for me:

Look at all that extra room when you take the hatch cover out and lower the rear seats. You could fit two bikes back there (with someone lifting and positioning from a forward position. Then you fit in everything else in all the corners and crannies. :D

Unless I want to take wheels and pegs and shit off, I can't fit my 20" street bike into the hatch of the Stinger. The handlebars are too wide and the pegs prevent the hatch from closing. It's a bummer. I've been using it as a truck the last couple of weeks with a move into a new house and while it can hold a lot, it's just awkward. I need to convince the missus that we need a Telluride or something to replace her CUV.

lmfao!! :p ;)

Gf used to want kids until I said I'm not sure I want any. Don't get me wrong, I've worked with kids for over three years and love kids... but idk if I want any of my own... :p

For now our two doggies will suffice as our babies plus my kitty cat back home! :D

And you think you can have a Stinger? I admire your pluck and optimism. We have nine. Yes, one at a time. Hah. Went from a Super Beetle, to an Impala sedan, a Caprice wagon, a Dodge Prospector 12 passenger van, a Ford Club wagon 15 passenger van, to a Stinger; in there were woven supplemental second vehicles: briefly a Monte Carlo, another Bug, a Tempo, a Shadow, a Voyager, a Fusion (still have). I ditched all use of a bike rack after the Impala; and stopped trying to travel with kids and bikes from kid number seven on.

 9???? Seesh. I've got 3 total, though only one really needs to be in the back seat at this point. Last year I had a Porsche Cayman and the 530 wagon in my signature, but the wagon went to Thing 1, and I couldn't get by with a 2-seater as my only car. :(

I have a hitch installed. Just had to cut a hole in the bumper cover.
