Normal AFR to see with JB4?

Just installed JB4 with pnp fuel wires, AFR looks good except at idle (no gas) it maxes out the gauge in the JB4 app, is that normal? Cruising its around 14.5 and wot its around 12 does this all sound normal?

Also i have a strange issue with the JB4 where it wants to go to map 2 every time i restart the car and connect it to the phone instead of map 1 where i like to leave it. Anyone know what could possibly be happening there?

Sounds normal. Stoichiometric (ideal air-fuel) ratio for gasoline is 14.7:1, so that's what you see when cruising. Max power requires richer than stoichiometric, so WOT around 12:1 sounds about right.

Right after you left off the throttle, ECU cuts fuel so mixture goes extremely lean, which is why your AFR show very high.

I think i found out why my JB4 always starts on map 2. I found that the wind shield wiper controls change the maps and I guess the wiper setting I had it on was for map 2. I moved the wiper to the second to bottom and it now comes on with map 1.

Anyone know how to disable the wiper controls for JB4 maps?

Didn't know that. I used my wiper controls wayyy too often for this to be of any practical use.
