Hi all,
I have a 2018 Stinger GT2 and when I connect my iphone 10 XS Max via bluetooth, I only hear notifications via the car speakers while the infotainment source is set to bluetooth but not when the source is set to radio for example.
In other cars with or without aftermarket decks, I have always received notifications on my iphones thru the car speakers regardless of what source the deck was set to, i.e. radio.
Does anyone have any fixes for this or info on this?
Please note, my deck in the Stinger was replaced when I experienced the front/rear speaker fade issue where it always reset to favor the rear fade. So the deck I have now has the ability to read text messages via bluetooth where the original decks didn't have this feature. The only point of mentioning this is to convey what deck I have, without knowing if it has any impact on the issue described above. I also believe the issue occurred in the old unit as well.
Thanks!
