Just had the pedal commander and JB4 both with Bluetooth installed on my GT1. It’s my daily driver so I’m just looking for more bang for my buck. I’m on map1 on the JB4 and sport on my commander. How do I know they’re working properly? What’s the ideal settings for both? Thanks

The JB4 and pedal tuners have nothing to do with each other.

Plugs properly gapped? What fuel are you on?

Hi there. No idea what plugs gapped means and I’m on whatever max octane is available at the pump. I understand the 2 aren’t synonymous but I was hoping to get help with both from 1 post. I will ask about the PComm in a dif thread.

Did you replace your spark plugs yet? That is required for the Stinger.

What he said. You have to do the plugs if you're going to run higher than Map 1. It sounds like you may be new to such things, this is a pretty good thread. To gap them you need to get the feeler gauges, think BMS sells those as well, and he's got the plugs and such. Gapping is bending the end of the plug to set the distance the spark has to travel. I gapped mine to .22, seems like there are others who've done it with slightly different values. Regardless...the factory gap is too big.

If all this sounds alien...it might be best to find a friend with some experience. You *can* do it on your own without experience, but I can pretty much guarantee epic frustration and there's some degree of risk.

One note, for you or the unsuspecting friend you have help you: The middle plug on the passenger side is a f%^()&$ing nightmare. But my boy and I got it done, in no small part because his skinny 14-year old hands fit into spots mine absolutely will not.

And by all means, read the tech-y forums relative to the areas you're interested in. Gobs of info.
