im ok with this, doesnt really need the 3.5L and most mods will be made for the 3.3L in mind i think.

I agree, 3.3 is pretty good, but I still believe 3.5 will come, they have it in Hyundai so Kia will get it I believe next year (mid year 2021) as a MY22

That is of course if there is a Stinger to put the 3.5 into.

IMO, while Hyundai keeps building the Genesis, Kia will offer the Stinger as a flagship to their brand.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Why are people so focussed on whether the Stinger will be upgraded from the 3.3TT to the 3.5TT? As used in the new G80, the 3.5 only offers an additional 7kW (9hp) of power and 20Nm (15ft-lb) of torque - I doubt most people would be able to notice the difference. The 3.5 only has an extra 6% of displacement so even if people want to tune it to get more power, would tuners really be able to extract much more from the 3.5 compared to the 3.3?

I think is more about the news/blogger articles as per my OP.
I guess some people would hold off purchasing a Stinger if they knew it was coming with an upgraded engine no matter how small the gains are.

The 3.5TT is capable of a good bit more power, such as what is expected for the upcoming Genesis G80 Sport.

Could very well be that if the Stinger (and G70) get the upgrade to the 3.5TT, that they get the higher output engine.

Also, improved fuel economy, cleaner emissions and both direct and multi-port injection.

As for Australia and other RHD markets like the UK, sales volume likely doesn't warrant Kia to make the upgrades.
