Hi everyone. Just got back from Maui with the family and had a great time until the last day I got pummeled by a wave an hyper extended my knee. Turns out I have a compression fracture at the the top of my tibia and I'm in a straight brace for 6-8 weeks. Thankfully it should heal with no surgery. So I can't drive my Stinger for a while. My son took it for a spin the other day but will there be any issues not driving it much for the next two months? Maybe I should have him drive it a few times a week for a couple miles? I don't put many miles on it anyway since working from home the last 3 years. I got it last July and only have about 3,600 miles so far. Any suggestions?

Just let your boy drive it here and there and should be fine.

Or get a trickle charger if no driving

when my car was waiting to be fixed after a bash I would take it out once every couple of weeks for half an hour or so to get it fully warmed up and make sure the battery wasn't going flat. this is on a five year old stinger. in the middle of winter down into the low teens. it fired up perfectly each time.

I would have it driven about once a week just to keep the battery charged, all the fluids circulated and keep the tires from getting flat spots.

Thanks for the feedback guys and gals!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
If you want to leave it in the garage gibe it a good clean, pump the tires to 3.2bar to avoid flat spots and hook the car up to a battery charger. Will no problem survive for 2-3 months like that.

I also have a mustang that i dont drive in winter and i do said procedure and it survive the 3-4months if hibernation fine.

Wish you a speedy recovery. You might consider riding in the back of this until you start driving again.

Let your son drive it. At least long enough for the oil to reach full temperature.
