• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Just picked up a GT Limited 2019 and for the life of me, I can't hear any difference in the exhaust externally or in the cabin between, minimal, normal and enhanced settings under the advanced settings. Yet, when I watch reviews, they all sound much louder in the cabin than mine does. I do have the 3.3 litre engine, top of the line Stinger. Did the Canadian models get screwed here and only the U.S. models have this setting working correctly??? Or do you got get the revs well past 4K to start to here a difference? I am currently breaking in the Stinger but thought that the enhanced exhaust sound inside the cabin would be noticed immediately at all revs. Can anybody shed some light on this issue? Its driving me bonkers and teetering on unacceptable....

The sound is only audible under hard acceleration. Its nothing like an active exhaust like you see on some cars, it's just a bit of extra noise pumped through the speakers during hard acceleration.

Got it. I had the active exhaust that i could control manually with an aftermarket switch on my 08 Vette...that was a treat. Wasn't expecting that kind of exterior sound change and not expecting much from Kia on the enhanced sound inside the cabin, but darn it, I paid for it and need to see I got it!! After more breaking in of about 400kms more or so, I hope I'll hear something extra/different.

Cheers,

I only notice in sport/custom modes.

Get some muffler deletes. Or maybe a catback/down-mid-Secondary-pipething combo, and turn the fake noises off. Problem solved.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
