Does anybody know if there's something I'm missing about tire rack?
They only have plain rotors available for the 22's and no pads at all?

How can tirerack not have a single brake pad available for this car?
mine's a GT, the 3.3 with brembos all around

Why not ask the Rack? Pads are available all sorts of places.

If you are just looking for daily driver replacements (not track pads) I have been fully satisfied with these Dynamic Friction Advance 5000 ceramic pads from Rock Auto

In USD - currently they are very economical
Front: 1551-1743-00 = $31.99
Rear: 1551-2144-00 = $47.79

Do a search for a Genesis G70 3.3T instead. Same Brembo brakes. Only one set of pads but...

Unfortunately, Stinger/G70 are not all that popular a platform, so not really worth stocking up a large number of choices. Do a TR search for Mazda MX5, and you'll see a gazillion options. That's the reality of it.

I do like Tire Rack and buy a lot of wheels and tires from them. Most of the other stuff they list though aren't really their specialty, and it shows.

gotcha, thanks for the info

semi related question. I've never seen any pads with those chunks of metal on the corners of the pad like on these factory pads. I'm reading they are anti squeel things or something? I'm referring to the pieces that sit outside the entire caliper and can be seen just looking through the wheel spokes.
But most aftermarket options don't seem to have that feature.
Can anybody confirm if those chunks really perform better than pads without that material on them?
I guess I will admit my brakes currently don't squeel ever, but I'm coming up on 60k and I just switched to my winter wheels and took notice the pads are getting down there

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
They are primarily for noise reduction. EBC pads have them:

Can confirm
Silent brakes for my last 2 sets of pads WITHOUT the weights (sound deadening ears) on the front.

  • 0 - 60k kms - OEM pads with extreme pulsations (no noise)
  • 60k - 116k kms, I tried front CENTRIC 10510010, rear CENTRIC 10560410. Those eventually developed pulsations, but were always silent - they still had 30-40% life left when I discarded them and replaced at 116k. These pads have the sound deadening ears only on the rear.
