I have a 2018 3.3L AWD. I bought the JB4 in August 2019 and it worked great for several months. Now in the last month, the turbos stopped working once and its thrown a code 0106 twice. I've inspected the unit and wires twice and unplugged/replugged everything back in. After each replug, it works well for a while then problems happen. The codes have both been thrown on cold engine startup. Not sure what else to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Let's see a JB4 log to see if anything stands out.

OK. Here you go. I cleared the code and got full throttle logs for maps 1,2 and 3. I've been running on map 3 with 93 octane gas. I bought aftermarket spark plugs and gapped them to 22. The only problems I've ever had were on startup. It runs rough for a minute and then throws the code. If you need any more info, let me know. I'll just run on map 2 until we figure out what's going on. I wonder if it could have been because I was running map 3. Thanks for your help.

No obvious issues here. I'd update to the latest v14 firmware though just to rule any issue with the older firmware.

So code appears at startup and not during full throttle operation?

The code has happened twice. Both at startup. I've cleared the code twice. It ran fine today after I cleared the code. And prior to this, the turbos did not work. I found a thread where this happened to someone else and he reconnected all the wires which I did and the turbos started working. Then after I reconnected all the wires after clearing codes it worked for a while as well making me think it's an electrical issue. I could be wrong. I've also been running map 3 with 93 octane gas. I'm wondering if that's too high of a map for that gas. I'll run it on map 2 for a while and see if it happens again.

I haven't opened the unit to see how the inside of it looks. Maybe there's a loose connection there.
