Super easy to deal with. Called yesterday about a GT2 still on the truck. Got Costco pricing which was $500 below invoice. They had the car unwrapped, detailed, and inspected by the time I arrived tonight. Signed the papers and drove it home.

Wow, congratulations! So you have it! Have you posted any pictures yet? No garage yet! :p I'm glad to hear you had a good experience with Nicholas Parks Kia. Thank you for the information!

@Via Chicago - may i ask what the final price paid was using the Costco route? And, did you know ahead of time that the costco price was below invoice?

Cheers

EDIT: I logged into Costco and see they provide the "invoice" number!

@Mach_Tuck - I didn't know they'd come in below invoice, but I was happily surprised to find that out. My final price was $49,095. The invoice on the Costco site notes an invoice of $49,113, but they didn't account for a dealer marketing fee that certain dealers are a part of, which was $482. There's another thread somewhere on the forum where I asked about this number to validate it's legitimacy. So the dealer invoice amount was $49,595. My understanding is that some dealers are charged this fee, and some aren't.

Thanks. I started the process today on Costco. Costco let me build a yellow GT2 and I received a phone call shortly later from the dealer saying they have one coming next week...not sure about that but we will see.

Anyway the Costco site showed MSRP of 50,820 and invoice of 47,200. If they come in below that at the dealer with the official offer I will be happily surprised as well. Then I'm gonna shoot for the lease cash and entertain a buyout down the road essentially getting the net purchase price close to 40-41k.

I'm with you. Once my info is all loaded into KMF, I am also considering just buying out the lease.
