Hello from South Carolina. I’ve been enjoying my base GT for about a month now. Didn’t want all that comes with the I and II. I understand why some would want all the “bells & whistles,”but I prefer to actually be the one driving the car. I really enjoy the car except for not being able to permanently shut off the “auto-stop,” and it not staying in the last selected drive mode when shutting down. My only other negative about the car is that at my age (80) getting in and out of the car is a bit of a nuisance. But, at least I am still around to be able to do it. My performance/sports car lineage- Austin-Healy 3000, TR-4, Plymouth Barracuda Formula S, Plymouth GTX, Nissan 350Z, Mustang GT, and now the Stinger.

Ah, only @Paul32 has got the years on you, by two. :P Watching you two do a LC duel would be very fun.

I had to have the sunroof and the Harman Kardon surround sound, otherwise, I'd probably be angsting over the Yellow GT that was in Jerry Seiner's lot the day of my test drive; I'd have bought it as compensation for Kia not offering a Competition Orange. Instead, over the weekend, someone else bought the Sunset Yellow. Hopefully it is being kind to them.

That's an impressive lineup of previous cars.

If those annoyances are the worst you have to say about the Stinger, then you are going to enjoy it.

Welcome, enjoy the forms. Wish I could find that color. Enjoy your sweet color car.

I would be all manual taking advantage of my youth, dragging 409 Chevy's in super stock at the drag strip. 4:56 rear, four speed and open pipes. Also, I'm younger until next week.

G’day & welcome, nice choice of colour, enjoy the ride...
