Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us! How long have you had your Stinger? And what did it replace for you?New here. Just joined to get some info and ideas for upgrades. My Stinger is a 2021 GT2 in Hichroma Red. Mostly stock so far, other than JB4, intakes, catch can and plugs(450hp kit from Burger). Looking forward to learning a few things.
I've only had it about 5 months. It replaced my old 1998 Mitsubishi Montero, which I kept as a backup/offroading/camping vehicle. I also had a 2013 BMW X1 that served as my daily for a while. So far, the Stinger has been a far superior experience over the X1.Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us! How long have you had your Stinger? Nice upgrade! If you haven't already, you're going to see the Stinger attracts a lot of attention. It's a unique vehicle on the road pretty much everywhere.I've only had it about 5 months. Yeah, I've definitely noticed. My old Montero is pretty unique as well, so I'm fairly used to it. I actually see quite a few more Stingers than Monteros on the road(in my 12 years driving a Montero, I only saw 1 other of the same generation). The main difference is all the teenagers in their 3 series, wrx or infinities trying to race me now that I'm in a Stinger. It's pretty amusing, but I'm a little old to be getting into that kind of trouble. I might try to find a local track day or something some day though, after I upgrade the brakes a bit.Nice upgrade! Yes, the Montero IS very rare. I haven't seen many of those myself. Every so often. And I know how you feel about the race-bait.Yeah, I've definitely noticed.
