Lowered on Eibach springs. 245/275 Continental DWS06 tires.
The same look as the stock rim and tire. No rubbing or touching at all. The lighter wheels do make an improved difference in acceleration and braking. Suspension feels better too thanks to the unsprung weight. Which Vertini's did you purchase?
Nice choice......Every bit counts. Its the accumulation of all the small gains/weight savings that make the difference in the end.![]()
Your wheelsView attachment 11564 are lighter than you think....this is a 20X11
@Johnny B, where did you get your wheels, if you dont mind me asking. Thank you in advance. Finally got my new VertiniView attachment 11556 View attachment 11557 View attachment 11558 View attachment 11559 wheels. 20X9 and 20X10.5
Well, those are wild looking rims. The color combo is reminiscent of older Ferraris with gold rims to go with the red body. I've always loved that look.
I'm not envious in the least of all you all "droppers". I want my stock clearance, thank you very much.
Then we are talking about two clearances: tires inside the wells and ground clearance. You have to pay for your lowering somewhere. I won't do it. But even I will admit that a lowered car looks meaner. The rest of the equation is literally where the rubber hits the road: and the rest of the car!?Something to consider, when doing wheels/tires AND lowering springs it's possible to minimize the loss of ground clearance by adding taller tires.
