I'm guessing not many 2.0 owners even bother with a tune, but I bought the car to be better than the guy next to me,unless it's a 3.3l,at the light(s). So I ordered a lap3 Uncle boost chip and a set of these,NGK 1422 ILKR8E6 spark plugs. I plan on gapping plugs at .028 and running a 91 tune.
So the big question, How Many wot's will I have before a plug is fouled or worse?
Kinda joking, I've read a lot of good stories and not many horror stories in regards with this mod.

Congrats on the mods! For those wondering the JB4 is fully compatible with the 2L also, we have the "worlds quickest & fastest" Stinger 2L timelsip record in the 1/4 mile thread. :)

On 2L plugs don't floor it at higher boost levels until you replace them.

They will all be installed at the same time, so no chance in that happening, although it was me flooring it with the oem set up that has prompted this mod(s). As for the spark plug and spending money on champions all my life I couldn't see blowing 30+ on A plug let alone 4.....pretty sure this tune has been sung before. I read that the ngk's are crap and real good, so what the hell. next plug(s) would be more expensive I would imagine.

JB4 has seen a lot of firmware development in recent months. Presumably, it's based primarily on tests on your in-house 3.3l Stinger. Is everything still safely compatible with the 2.0l?

What do you suggest we do with the spark plugs in the 2.0l?

Also do you have any dynos with the 2.0l? I would be interested to see whether there is torque increase at low and mid-rpms.

Thanks!

Everything is compatible with the 2L.

On plugs we don't have Denso's for them, so you're stuck with the expensive HKS plugs for now.

I don't have any 2L dynos but gains are similar in distribution to the 3.3L.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
