Im new to this forum, however what i am going to ask has been spoken about on MANY threads, However most of those threads/videos are related to the 3.3 stinger. and the sound/performance 3.3 vs 2.0 im sure are a BIG difference. so to judge those videos wont be accurate.
The ones i find for 2.0 usually have questions that have not been answered literally for years so i am posting hoping to find more incite on this maybe those people who asked questions found the answers.
Intakes - currently looking at
AEM 21-867C Cold Air Intake System
or
K&N 69-5320TS COLD AIR INTAKE - HIGH-FLOW, ALUMINUM TUBE - KIA STINGER L4-2.0L
Others : recommended by you
i understand both are basically same companies, the K&N uses an oil filter and the AEM has an enclosed box where the K&N only has the heat shield around it.
-- the question, is one "Actually" better than another. performance wise or sound wise? I know their are other intakes, but some are double or triple the price, and ive seen so many posts people selling the injen intake (to me it means they sold the car or got a diff one)

Oil catch can i read is one of the recommended things to get also.
OF COURSE i will be getting a JB4 along with the spark plugs aswell.
I bought this car back in 2020 when i commuted ALOT more to work, since then my commute went from 50+ mins to 10 minutes with that being said i bought the car then for the MPG while still being AWD and decent in stock HP (plus i really wanted red interior). I came from a BMW 550 which was faster but killed me in gas. but now i want more power.
Goals
Increase sound of performance without sounding like my old honda civic that was loud and went nowhere
actual performance - I do not intend to make this compete with 3.3's but just want more than what it has currently.
