New to the stinger

Hey! Newbie here just bought a 21 stinger GT1 limited today. Love this car already. Nice to see there is a forum to get info! Just wanna know things to look out for and any known issues to be aware of. Not sure if modding it is really worth it as I want this to last lol.

It's reasonable to say that Kia tuned this vehicle quite conservatively from the factory, and that you would at least be doing yourself a favor by upgrading the suspension a bit.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new Stinger GT! You're going to love it. Nice choice too on the spec.

The Stinger platform has been deemed very reliable by the community in its 5 years of production. Just do your research on the forum and feel free to ask questions about the parts you may look at getting. If you are satisfied with the performance of the car in its stock form, theres a lot of cool cosmetic mods you can do to personalize the car to your liking.

Something to be aware of is the OEM Brake Pads causing vibration when you hit the brakes, so we always suggest upgrading to some Ceramic brake pads to reduce deposits on the rotors, and they also cut down on brake dust. We carry our K8SS Ceramic Brake Pads here!

Thanks for the welcome! It replaced the long over due minivan…kids are getting older so decided it’s time to upgrade. Wife is in love with the car too(mind you I had to buy it for her haha)

Hey, it's always better to receive one than to buy one! But yeah, that's a heck of an upgrade from the minivan.
