New to the Stinger Family

@Joseph Spiegel An eventual meetup would be cool. Should be more of us in the area.

@MerlintheMad Same, first time with a brand-new car. I bet you got a lot of open roads in Utah. My wife says she saw a parked Stinger but I haven't yet. It's weird, you'd think there would be more sightings in Los Angeles, but there's a lot of money and showiness out here. I see Tesla's left and right, which is to be expected, but I also see a lot more Maseratis and Alfa Romeos. Like Ucinn and Joseph say, I can't show off too much considering what's out there (especially since I'm fine without the GT).

What I mostly love besides car quality and sportiness is how unique it is. Sure, the Stinger "steals" lots of design elements from the cars in its class, but there's something about the way it all came together that stands out. Can't be more happy.

I am happy. But I am sorry for the few who have failing paint issues. Bummer! (Nevertheless, out of well over 10K Stingers sold in just Europe and the US there are not a lot of those, thankfully.)

The design elements are not stolen, they are borrowed. :p

So far, I have not been challenged. If I keep this up that is bound to happen. I've already decided that "you win" is my approach. Some people really have their ego and self image wrapped up in their cars. Might as well preserve good feelings. The Stinger isn't a dragster, it's a fast accelerating, maneuvering road trip beast.

Hwy 6 is a blast. There are countless other highways that I have never driven. Yes, we do have a lot of open roads. And Highway Patrol. And local county cops itching to cite for even a mere ten over (I speak from experience; this was in southern Utah, just above the Arizona state line: in a Ford Club Wagon, 15 passenger: imagine what that cop would do if he saw a Stinger!).

It was the P85D...on my azz the whole way down the on ramp... when we got on the expressway he went by and we gave each other the wave.
