I picked up a 2020 GT2 a little less than 2 weeks ago and I'm liking it a lot so far. I was not in the market at all but got to test drive it out of the blue and fell in love.

I installed the mykey remote start already, and I intend to probably do some of the typical mods at some point. I am gonna wait on most of them for now because I like the car so much the way it is already.

Just wanted to say hi and hop on the forum!

Nope, haha. I have a friend who works at a dealership where I was having my old car serviced and they'd just gotten one in. He let me drive it for a day while my car waited on parts and I wanted it back after I'd had it.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
G’day & welcome.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your new Stinger GT! What did the Stinger replace for you? I'm glad you found us. :) When the time comes for mods, check out the forum store and the vendor section for all sorts of ideas.

Thanks! I had a 2014 Cadillac CTS 2.0 AWD. It wasn't bad or anything, but the Stinger was a whole different experience.

That was the generation of CTS that I liked. I didn't care for either of the previous two generations. The third generation was a very good vehicle. It's great to hear you're liking the Stinger more. It's really amazing. Cadillac didn't think anything of the 2009 Hyundai Genesis Sedan and now look. Both Hyundai (and Genesis) and Kia are making better automobiles than the American luxury brand with the longest history...

That was the crazy thing to me. I know there's a 6 year difference, but the Stinger actually feels nicer on the interior to me than the Cadillac did. And it's way more fun to drive. And again, I didn't dislike the Cadillac. I know the Genesis line is the more "upscale" brand even, so I imagine it's probably even nicer on the inside, which is pretty crazy to me.

Now it's getting even crazier... The CTS was praised in the media for being an excellent handling midsize sedan - ESPECIALLY with the lighter 2.0T... And you're feeling the Stinger is more fun to drive. Truly impressive. 6 years really isn't that long in the automotive industry. At least I don't think so. Cadillac was at the top of its game at that point - at least as far as handling capability. I prefer the Cadillac of old where their vehicles favored luxury over sport. If you ever have the opportunity, sit in the new 2023 Genesis G90. Cadillac can't touch it. Neither can Lincoln...

Love the Ceramic Gray. That was my first choice but came across my AWD GT1 in black. Checked all my boxes except the color and the price was good so I jumped on it.

I got lucky with the color, because I think it's my favorite. But the black definitely looks sleek too!

I see you are a fellow MO Stinger owner. Maybe I'll see you out there sometime!

I'm actually on the KS side but blast the downtown loop anytime I can in manual mode. Grab some paddle extenders and work that I70 to 670 path. You'll appreciate it.

Welcome to the form!

As with any car it's usually a good idea to wait before adding mods that you're confident you know what you want to change.

Anyway have fun!
