Hi,
I happened upon this forum looking for accessories for my husband's Kia Stinger. I was looking for a windshield cover to protect the dash, a good phone holder that doesn't take up a cup holder and any other accessories that would just add a little flair without being gaudy. I didn't actually find what I was looking for through the shop here, but think I have found what I was looking for elsewhere. However, I am going to wait to purchase until I see if someone has better ideas and/suggestions as to what to get and where.
Thank you!

Welcome @Mz B1ggz , to our stingerforum, in Australia we can purchase a genuine Kia Dash Mat, but I believe is not available in the US, looks like your looking for a sunshade for the front windscreen, there is so much to learn here about your Stinger, as all forum members are Stinger owners with much experience and knowledge of this car.

While on subject - we can order parts to US through KIA aus website right? That dashpad is a must have.

@Mz B1ggz I recommend anything by Wiz Gear. Their magnetic cell phone mounts are THE way to go. I have the windshield mount BUT I do prefer my cup holder mount because I can keep my phone plugged in without the power cable running everywhere.

I think you have not considered the Kia Dash Mat available through Kia Dealerships here in Australia, is for Right Hand Drive Stingers Only, like in Australia, I have not seen a Kia Dash Mat for a Left Hand Drive Stinger, but I believe the US may have aftermarket ones, and Yes, the Dash Mat is a must have in my opinion.

Doiy. Palm to my forehead. I didn’t think about steering wheel position!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Hi,
Thank you so much for the suggestions. I will certainly look and check them out.
Thanks again!

Hi,
Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I myself, honestly, did not realize there was a difference in the driving position. Do you think though that the windows would be that different that a protector from AUS wouldn't fit? I don't know about your dash, but there really isn't anything, detail wise, that would seem to impede a proper fit. Of course I am just learning about all this, lol.
Thanks again!

Oh, that's a good idea! Hadn't thought of that. Thank you!
Hi again,
Just saw your picture of your dash protector, very cool! Unfortunately, my husband would probably freak out if I didn't get something that "went properly" with the vehicle, lol. And we are not fans of our insurance carrier, so, if it has their name, it would be a no go. Still a good idea though!
Thanks again!

Well, if you get an insurance agent who creates "fans" of his customers, then you can advertise for him gladly. :D

Very true!! Ours better get the New Orleans Saints on his in order for us to advertise for him, Haha!
...........maybe add you location to your signature ??:)

Okay, I went in and updated. Thank you! I really had not paid attention to where everyone is from and that it shows up. I am using a little tablet, so I do not always see everything when filling out information. Y'all have a great afternoon!

The dash mat sits on the dash, rather than up against the windscreen. As such, it is sculpted to fit over the instrument binacle, centre display and passenger dash, including having allowance for the passenger airbag.

As a result, it would not suit a LHD vehicle at all.

If you're after a "blind" that sits up against the windscreen, it's unlikely you'll find anything with a Stinger-specific shape (though you may find something with "Stinger" on it).

Hi,
Thank you so much for your reply and explanation. I understand now. I have, in fact, found one specifically made for the Stinger on Amazon. It happens to be some type of Kia retailer through Amazon. It does not say Stinger on it, but that is okay; I really just wanted something that would fit the shape of the window, more than anything. I really just wanted to see if there was more available especially before purchasing from Amazon. If I can buy through Kia specifically, that's what I would rather do. I appreciate all the feedback from everyone!
Y'all have a great week ahead!
