Bought a WRX first instead of my Stinger . Big mistake so took my lose and bought my originally planned car . Will be planning future mods and have been researching the Facebook site but this one still seems pretty active. Thanks for the add .

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us! Yes, this has been a very active community for several years now. We get about 125-150 posts per day here. More and more, people are coming back here from Facebook - especially after their posts mysteriously disappear as they're deleted without any say of the group admins... The Stinger Facebook site is a good one but most are just awful . Nice to see such an active none FB site .

I alway research before I buy . Quite heavily. But did not look into the Subaru like I should . Sold my truck and wanted a car . Saw it . Bought it . Stupid .

Subaru USED to be fairly cheap, reliable, good bang-for-the-buck cars. that hasnt been the case for a LONG time, though ... even though they still manage to somehow cling to that "reliable" reputation.

im new to the Stinger (and KIA, too), so im hoping its as reliable as it seems to be, because i plan on keeping it longer than i have previous cars ...

You tuning it ? I have had bad experiences with the Subaru looking for more power . Lap3 is where I am leaning but wrenched on that Subaru so much just researching at this point. Did intercooler , charge pipe , boost solenoid, intake , j-pipe , catback , accessport , dynotune, etune . Still laugh when I punch the Kia stock compared to that all modded . I know it’s not a fair comparison but it is when you look at what the companies said you would have with those mods . What a joke .

i had a '97 SVX with some bolt on mods (this was the most solid of all of them), an '05 LGT with Cobb Accessport, downpipe, uppipe (no problems with tune, but car was bought new and had a lot of other issues). wife had a WRX (lots of little problems and a shitload of recalls), and an FXT that was completely stock and meticulously maintained but its engine shit the bed at 71k. that was the final one for me ...

the new WRX costs as much as i paid for my 1 year old loaded Infiniti Q60 Red Sport AWD. not even a close comparison, especially since the new WRX is butt-ass ugly LOL Subaru is out of their minds ...

Definitely agree with you there . If I won one in a raffle it would be heavily discounted and gone before I ever drove it . Lol .
