New to the forum and the Stinger, Hi! :)

Just recently purchased a 2018 Stinger GT. Need help with a few issues but glad to be here and see this thriving community.
Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your new Stinger GT! What did the Stinger replace for you? I'm glad you found us. :)

It replaces my WRX and my '91 Celica AllTrac. Still miss the AllTrac though. ;)

Well, I have been abusing that search bar like it did me a serious wrong, and indeed it works pretty well. Some things seem a little tougher to pinpoint for me coming from older vehicles and there is a lot of new tech terminology that I still have to learn.

I will post pics after I get the chance to take some. It's a Mica Blue color but it is in rough shape. I bought it used and someone apparently went through a fence with it or something so the front bumper cover is cracked in many places and the rear driver side door has a huge vertical crease in it. It's ugly. lol

I am trying my best to get everything back in order on it though! Need to bring it to the dealer and have them figure out what f88kery is going on with the audio as when I hooked in my MAC scan tool it shows that the factory amplifier is nowhere to be found by the system even though all fuses are good and are getting power as they should.
Then is the tailgate latch mechanism which doesn't work at all, so if I want the trunk open, I am going in through the cabin to hit the emergency release.

A lot of little things.

I took it out and gave it a good stretch today though. Just got back actually. Had a nice hour long romp in the hills and played with some of the features. The adaptive cruise control is crazy good. I was very pleasantly surprised.
I did notice that the tail end is a twitchy beast on throttle though, which makes me not so enthusiastic about acceleration through turns. Maybe I will get used to it though?

RWD? Its been winter since I got mine, so I haven't pushed it too hard, but the AWD has been very solid.

Yeah it's an RWD GT model. I think it may be more of an issue with the drive by wire in how it perceives throttle input though because in some instances it goes from rolling on throttle to *twitch* in the same second.

Howdy and welcome. Your "project car" seems like a doodle compared to @General_Vodka 's :D The rear twitchiness is characteristic of the OE suspension. If you swap to aftermarket anti-sway bars that will go away. Otherwise, just get used to driving with it feeling that way; it isn't as if the car is unmanageable.

Welcome!

Thanks! Seems like a decent bunch of people on here so far. Not posting much as I am still trying to catch up on all the reading but everyone has been nice so far. :)
