Beautiful color dude awesome choice, I test drive the S5 and nothing impressive over the Stinger plus will cost you 20-40% more depending on equipment. I leased too cuz Im getting the next gen Stinger or the next Genesis coupe sports car to come in the next few years.
I actually did a total all-in price analysis between the S6 and leasing a Stinger, weighing out cost of ownership in an Ideal, Realistic, and Catastrophic (Catastrophic being the Audi costs me $20,000 all-in for maintenance over 3 years, and me returning my lease with frame damage or something terrible), and the Audi was always less to own, aside from the Catastrophic category. I just realized I wasn't willing to take the gamble for something so similar to my S4. Plus, it banked me me selling it private party in the end, and I realized it's way harder to sell a used S6 Private Party vs an S4.
I only keep cars 3 years, so I figured I'd give leasing a try for once.
I think, from what has been shared this winter on the forum, that you'll find the AWD very comfortable in the snow. My A/S Nitto Motivos take off with alacrity in snow. Cornering is adequate. Just don't be in a hurry. With winter tires on, AWD Stingers are equal to anything in sedans and superior to most. We are talking of course about snow that is not deep enough to bottom out on the low ground clearance.
I feel like it will be just as confident in the snow as my S4, but slightly less fun. Something about the S4's size + manual transmission that made snow drifting a blast.
