Finally pulled the trigger on a ‘fun car’ a few weeks ago for my 30th bday. It’s a complete 180 coming from a 1.8t Jetta. Never thought I’d own a Kia or say a Kia is a blast to drive. Initially tried to get the yellow (terrible dealer experience) then moved onto new dealer and was going to go with a red GT2 but when I saw the ceramic silver on the lot it stopped me dead in my tracks! Wish it was the GT2 trim but had to settle for GT1. The saying “when you turn your car on, it should return the favor” has never been more true!

Welcome, No regrets here either, I saw every color in person except for the Yellow or Ceramic. Only saw pictures of the Ceramic and I bought it sight unseen. They delivered the car to my home and I was like Heck yea!!! YES GT1 here also..

Nice! I live in RI and haven’t seen a single other stinger in RI or MA. Hopefully that will change, but in the meantime I’ll take getting stared at and questioned haha

I wanted the yellow so bad but dealer was unwilling to sell even with substantial $$$ on the table :/ but after reading about paint problems maybe it’s a blessing!
