Yes, the heated steering wheel only comes on the AWD cars, at least here in the US.

If you have a RWD you don't get a heated steering wheel.

I'm assuming Kia's logic is that people shopping for AWD cars live in areas that get exposure to snow and freezing temperatures.

Totally makes sense! Funny I went without it for 20 yrs but psyched this one will have it...especially on those colder winter days car is parked outside
