New to Kia Stinger

Good Morning all,

I've just bought a Stinger GTS 2019 17k miles fitted with JB4. I've not even seen it yet as it caught my eye whilst flying to work in Africa for 5 weeks!

The missus has picked it up and she likes it but is a little apprehensive as she's a slow driver. SO the engine management light has came on and the guy I bought it off said its something to do with the JB4 and when it came on last time he took it back to the garage and they managed to turn it off.

Anyway just want to say hello and im looking forward to driving the car after reading lots of positive things about it.

Welcome! You’ll find all things Stinger here. If you are throwing codes with the JB4 attached you should remove it. Start pouring over the JB4 info here to get your own understanding of the device and hook it up properly yourself. I’ve been running with JB4 for pretty much the life of the car it’s a great tool with second to none customer support if and when needed. And boy does it wake the Stinger up. Cheers

Hey Bud, yes good advice ill give it a good checking over get all the facts together (it was the owner before the guy I bought it off who had all mods done) so details on what's been modded are sketchy! Thanks for advice.

Good Day Buddy, thanks for the message, I'm thrilled to have the Stinger. It replaced a 2014 Honda CRV 1.6 Diesel totally boring car but served its purpose (camping trips and lumping lots of gear about). Looking forward to trawling through the forum for ideas and inspiration

Female stinger owner here. Give the missus a chance to open her up, she’ll get used to it or just slowly break her in on open roads lol. Car is a blast, especially with no interference…
