hi new to the group and i have a question , what is the purpose of UVO? i just cant seem to figure out it's use. I have searched the post/ threads and im not seeing much on it. any input is appreciated, as this is my first Kia.

2018-2021 model USA Stingers only got Uvo eServices which is pretty much useless. Don't even try setting anything up. starting in 2022, the Stinger got Uvo Link which is the actual connected service where the Car has a cellular connection and you can remotely start/lock/unlock check on the car from anywhere you have service.

I didn't get UVO set up for my 2020 Stinger until I was working on updating the Navigation a few days ago. UVO has a Parking Minder if you need that to find your car. It also shows you current miles and whether any and what maintenance is due. Also has an apparent connection as to whether there are any issues with your power train , chassis or safety system. The Trip Info is all blank for me so far because I just got it updated to my current car. There are a few other functions that are explained in the Help selection.

Sometimes tech is helpful and sometimes it's just more functions to figure out. Whether it is useful at all is up to you.
