Hello! I'm Ryan from Northwest Mississippi (just outside Memphis TN) and I recently bought a 2018 Kia Stinger GT2 AWD with 39,900 miles. I had a 2018 Honda Civic hatchback 1.5T previous that was modified quite a bit, but sold it recently and fell into my Stinger. So far, I absolutely love this car. It's night and day faster than my Civic ever was or ever would be, the amount of power the 3.3L TT V6 has is incredible. The interior of this car is also one of great conversation - it's luxurious compared to what I'm used to. I absolutely love this car.

With that said, the itch to mod has struck me already and have begun doing research on this platform, but would like the opinions of forum members. I like the JB4 piggyback system, am aware you need aftermarket spark plugs to prevent blowout, but past that I am not sure what I should be looking into getting. I am aware of the 450hp Performance Kit from Burger Motorsports, but wasn't sure if this is something I should consider. Any and all advice is welcome! Thanks

2018 Honda Civic hatchback vs 2018 Kia Stinger... it is absolutely no contest.

Edit: Not sure why but all my Stinger pictures want to post sideways, regardless of their orientation, and that includes as my profile picture... any ideas on how to fix?

This happens to me too, edit your photo size slightly & reinstall that should fix it.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I’m glad you found us!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Greetings. Bone stock drivetrain here, but Eibach sway bars front and rear - had the rear one a year and a half before installing the front, man, what a difference in roll and steering feedback.

JB4 - 450 HP package is a great place to start.

Congrats on your Stinger and welcome to the group!

Hey rwk_stung,

Welcome to the Stinger Forum and congrats on your new Kia!

The 3.3T AWD GT2 must feel like such a beast compared to your 1.5T Honda.

We have a ton of performance and aftermarket parts available for your Stinger.

I would suggest picking up an intake and a spoiler to start with, we have some different options available at www.K8StingerStore.com.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you would like a discount on your order!

Enjoy the new ride,

Daniel @ the K8 Stinger Store
