Just had to get new tires. Well, payed for them anyways. They’ll be at Discount Tire tomorrow for installation. After installation, road hazard, disposal fees, and tax, $1784 out the door. Hope they stand up to my abuse. Lol! I’ll give a y’all a review once they’re mounted up. IMG_3590.webp

They will stand up to any amount of abuse. They just won't last as long. Ima about done forking out this kind of money for Michelin. My driving isn't all that aggressive that I need these. A/S should be fine. In an earlier year, I'd have swapped to my Michelin summer setup by now. But Ima still on the Nitto Motivo setup and in no hurry to continue wearing out my Michelins. When the weather is truly out of any possibility of snow, I'll switch. When the Michelins are done, maybe I'll move the Nittos to the lighter aftermarket wheels and put the GT wheels in the shed and just leave the one setup on year-round.

I've been driving aggressively on Continental extreme contacts for a year surprisingly they're holding up well

Such was my reasoning going with the AS tires. Sure I like to have occasional fun, but 99% of driving is grid, boring roads. We'll see how long/well the AS4's hold up for. So far, after nearly 12K miles, i'm impressed in handling and wear.

If I spend that much on ONE set of tires, they'd better make my morning tea and cure cancer.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Agree, my contis handle more than well enough for the occasional tossing around. Took a wide corner at speed this morning just to verify.

To be fair, the OP is from Canada so that $1784 CAN is like $43 USD. ;)

[I just noticed their profile says "Austin, TX" but the forum software thinks they're in Canada, maybe a proxy/VPN thing on his end tricking the forum and ruining my joke.]

Yessir I’m in Austin, originally from New Orleans. Yeah I don’t know why every once in a while it throws up a Canadian flag by my name.
