Such was my reasoning going with the AS tires. Sure I like to have occasional fun, but 99% of driving is grid, boring roads. We'll see how long/well the AS4's hold up for. So far, after nearly 12K miles, i'm impressed in handling and wear.My driving isn't all that aggressive that I need these. A/S should be fine. In an earlier year, I'd have swapped to my Michelin summer setup by now.
Agree, my contis handle more than well enough for the occasional tossing around. Took a wide corner at speed this morning just to verify.I've been driving aggressively on Continental extreme contacts for a year surprisingly they're holding up well
To be fair, the OP is from Canada so that $1784 CAN is like $43 USD.If I spend that much on ONE set of tires, they'd better make my morning tea and cure cancer.
