So I very urgently need new tires, and all the shops near me do not have the sizes that came originally with the car (225/40/ r19 front / 255/35/ r19 rear) and pretty much other every other size that I see people normally run. Having a buy 3 get 1 free, so this shop lack of sizes is understandable, and I would also like to use the promotion (reason why I'm fidgeting with sizes)
After talking to a few people would running 245/35/ r19 on all 4 be fine? Looking to probably move over to squared setup as this is my daily and I'm about to drive a LOT these next few months (across the country and back) and having the option to rotate tires sounds nice. Saw someone saying that the 245/35 all around worked great for him and wanted some more opinions.
Looking to get the Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 for about $840 for 4 tires from a promotion they're running.
Thank guys!

Reason for urgent need of tires below.

whoa! that is some freaky looking failure. what kind of tire is this? how did that happen? for that matter, what happened?

Michelin Sport All Seasons.
Was taking a corner (rather aggressively) and I felt a pop and almost went into a ditch after car lost grip for a second.

michelin are good for any amount of aggressive. something happened. could you have hit something? or do you think that this is a tire failure?

Keep in mind, if your car came with the staggered setup, even if you put the same size tires on all 4 you won't be able to rotate them. The stock rear wheels won't clear the suspension on the front.

Id put money that it was a tire failure. My other tires are holding up very well and I am 100% sure I did not hit anything

That was my main concern, however a few people are running 245/35 and I was wondering how they could get them to fit

My only guess is they're using spacers if they're putting the staggered backs on the front.

VERY happy with my DWS06's - highly recommended!
