New stingers have a design change when it comes to replacing rear badge

Looks like Kia have changed the style of fitment of the rear Kia badge so it now has an indent in the panel when you remove the old badge. Looks like its a fill and paint job now.
Im trying to find out what year and month of build it effects.

Looks like there may be some confusion in his terminology. It's possible when he says "divot" he's also saying "hole."
 
No in his original post he said indent the same shape as oval,badge.

Sigh.... my 2019 GT1 has holes in the rear badge area.... I had to position it JUST right to make sure the holes weren’t shown but you can still see the outline of one of the holes..... So holes confirmed lol
 
I think they all had the holes in the rear, both 2018 and 2019, but the OP indicated there was some sort of ridge around the badge, which no one else has seen yet, which would prevent installing the longer Stinger script. No ridge on my 2019.
