Lol fair enough on the story.
Before we get down to that, I’m in Alberta, Canada.
I’ve been lucky enough to have a job that provided a work vehicle which was unmarked and passable enough since I was a teen that I’ve never had to have something of my own.
That changed a few months ago when I was poached by my largest client to come work for them directly in a much more senior role.
I bought an old e39 BMW 528i because I was cash poor initially and didn’t know how the job would go. It has since left me stranded three times, and I’ve spent twice it’s value in repairs in the last four months.
It’ll be my project car now.
Although I’ve purchased new work cars before, and I bought the wife a 2014 Grand Cherokee Diesel a couple years ago after she wrote off her gen3 4Runner this is my first personal, after tax, brand new vehicle.
I have to admit, I was pretty determined to end up with a m340i/m440i or a c43 or glc43 before picking this up, but I’m pretty thrilled to have a bunch of extra dough in my pocket and something that stands out a bit more. First couple hundred km have been pretty enjoyable, and the staggering warranty these have is pretty darn nice too.
So… that’s the story
I’ll pop a pic or two up once she’s properly washed and dried. Her first couple spins have been fairly rainy, so she’s feeling a bit camera shy at the moment.
