New Stinger Owner

Hi all, just picked up my MY20 Singer Gt 3.3L TT today absolutely mad drive in comfort or Sport
Just going to add a
K&N Typhoon Air Intake upgrade now..
I assume this doesn't need tuning as yet but will be getting a cat back system..
Probably Boral or X-Force..? any recommendations... and can anybody tell me
whether the KIA bimodal exhaust genuine accessory is just for sound or does it give you any power gain before ...Thanks

Congrats on your Stinger @Mark555, welcome to the Hive. I have the Bimodal, no there are no power gains with it just sounds good at idle and in sport mode.

Yeah ..thanks guys mines the Micro Blue..was going to get a different colour but when I saw them I preferred the blue.
hey DCB I'm in Melbourne also.
Thanks for the info on the bimodel FlameAngel..yeah it does sound good ...but they are over 3K to buy and install but it does work with the mode selection switch ..I think the xforce ones don't sound as good and wired separately ..the magflow cat-back sounds good though..
just wondering if there is any drone in the car though...I Know the Borla cat-back has no drone not bad..
(I tried to supply some links but wouldn't let me post..) just check them out online

Welcome Mark. As per Flame's comment on the bi-modal and loving mine particularly when downshifting or holding a gear to upshift. Gives a pleasant sound with no drone. Also take into account that it was engineered to suit Stinger and carries Kia warranty.

Hi Mark and welcome, Flameangel has micro blue as well and is also a Victorian.

As far as exhausts go look in here using the find button top left corner = and search Titles with keywords, every exhaust type is in here including reviews and sound clips.

Thanks OZ...I've seen a few Mico blues in Melboune..maybe FlameAngel....picking up my K&N Typhoon today..then going to visit the unchip guys..thanks for the info on the exhausts..

Lol, not me, unfortunately can't venture that far from home good luck wth your exhaust.
