Hello! I pick my “new” stinger up today. This will be my first non American vehicle after being brought up in the classic Michigan mindset. I have been looking around for something that can handle corners and a family at the same time and I finally found it! I pick mine up later today and I can’t wait! Kudos to Kia for still making a spacious and affordable sport sedan this late in the game.

Welcome to the hive! Post up some pics when you get it. If you like corners I recommend front and rear sway bars if you want to do some mods.

Thanks for the recommendation! I think my first mod will be tires because of the a/s on the awd model. I was shocked that they weren’t over powered by the v6 thrust, but I can still tell they could be much better

Great place to start, there are some differences in factory options, and lots of aftermarket ones mine came with Michelin pilot sport 4's, check out the tire, wheel and suspension forum for other reccos if you haven't already

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your new Stinger! What did the Stinger replace for you? I’m glad you found us. :)

Well it’s actually replacing a Chevy equinox. I leased that car for the purpose of daily driving 30 miles to work 6 days a week and now I only go in 3 days and 10 miles. Opportunity lined up and I scored a gt2 for below its blue book and ended up with cash from the dealer for the nox. So happy to be in a performance car again. Last car before the nox was a focus st.

Howdy and welcome, "Sideways Dog" :P ;) My daughter just bought an Equinox. I envy her 360 cameras, that's about all.

Lol yeah I gotta figure out my profile pic. I didn’t have the 360 cam in the equinox so not much to like.

If you took that doggie pic sideways, the uploader turns it sideways, in spite of you rotating it at your end. If you resize the rotated pic file, then it will appear on the forum rotated.

Congrats on your purchase! I drove Chevrolet, Pontiacs and Buicks before the Stinger. The Stinger is a whole 'nother animal from those vehicles. But, they aren't exactly an apples to apples comparison either.
If only my Stinger will run as many miles as my last Pontiac Bonneville SSEi. As great of a car as the Stinger is, I'm not holding my breath.
